Collection Spotlight: Veterans’ Priority
About
This month, the
WorkforceGPS Team would like to introduce you to Veterans’ Priority,
a centralized collection of information for Veterans’ programs, policies,
and initiatives which primarily effect the Wagner-Peyser and Workforce
Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) employment and training programs.
Veterans’ Priority is a new way for Veterans to get information on the job market, education & training programs, grants, legislation, and various other publications and articles related to the community’s specific issues.

Also worth noting, November 11th, 2017 is Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, which honors all veterans who have served in the military and has been observed annually since the end of World War I; the holiday was officially named Veterans Day in 1954 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
