For several years, the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has supported research on the use of Real-Time Labor Market Information (RT LMI) along with traditional LMI.

Description

In late 2013, ETA began a technical assistance project to increase knowledge of the RT LMI landscape and support selected states in building their capacity to utilize those resources. As part of this technical assistance project an environmental scan was published in August 2014. The scan seeks to inform the workforce development system about the common uses, successes and challenges of RT LMI. It also provides an overview of major RT LMI products and profiles three states and three regional workforce development knowledge centers that are using RT LMI to identify and address labor market issues. On February 10th, we invite you to join a webinar to learn about and explore information contained in the environmental scan as well as hear from highlighted states.
