This webinar is a part of the Youth CareerConnect Annual Conference. It provides the Uniform Guidance principles of budget controls as a tool to achieve program effectiveness. The budget is an organization’s financial blueprint to provide a plan of action to staff responsible for achieving the performance goals of a project.

Budgets, when compared with actual expenditures, help management anticipate potential problems on a timely basis, and provides opportunities to plan ahead by highlighting trends.
This webinar will outline the changes in the budget modification process between the federal awarding agency and the grant recipient. It will also highlight some analytic tools recipients may use to manage budgets against spending and performance.
