In this session you will learn about your Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College & Career Transition (TAACCCT) Solicitation for Grant Application (SGA) requirement to use Universal Design for Learning and for meeting web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.0.).
Description
Specifically we will provide an overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. We will illustrate through examples how you can apply UDL to the design of courses and programs and who on your grant team needs to know about it and where they can get help. This session will also provide an overview of legal obligations around accessibility and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.0.).
