A webinar for NFJP staff exploring career ladders within the agricultural industry. Some migrant and seasonal farmworkers wish to pursue higher paying and more stable positions in an agricultural setting where they already have years of experience.

However, identifying the options available, as well as the education, training, and skills needed for these positions can be difficult. The webinar will feature the Employment and Training Administration’s Pamela Frugoli, of O*NET and Competency Assessment Team Lead, who will discuss workforce system resources available to grantees as they identify career pathways in the agriculture industry. Two NFJP grantees will also present their experiences with agricultural upgrades and discuss the successes and challenges their participants have faced in obtaining and keeping these types of jobs.A webinar for NFJP staff exploring career ladders within the agricultural industry.
