The construction industry invests time and money to train its workforce through apprenticeship, on-the-job training, and journeymen upgrades. Ensuring that these investments result in quality workers who remain in the industry is critical. However, retention in our industry remains a challenge, and in particular for women and minorities who often face barriers on the jobsite and in their careers.
