Filing a Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Petition is the first step in establishing eligibility for a TAA worker group to receive Trade Adjustment Assistance. Although a TAA petition may also be filed via fax or U.S. Mail, filing online is by far the fastest and most secure means of ensuring that information entered on a TAA petition is entered accurately. In turn, filing online can also expedite the investigation needed to determine group eligibility.

Description

This presentation is designed to provide state and local workforce staff with screen shots from the online TAA Petition application, with a focus on the unique features of the online petition, including “help” buttons that provide useful clarification about the information requested on a TAA petition, and how to connect attachments to the petition via the application. During the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions in connection with TAA filing procedures.
