This interactive webinar will draw on key components of a new Employment and Training Administration (ETA) resource guide on On-the-Job Training (OJT) that showcases strategies for Implementing OJT simply and effectively. The webinar will offer an overview of common misconceptions of OJT, and provide a summary of key elements and major changes to OJT under Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Description

It will also feature the benefits of OJT to businesses, clients, local Workforce Development Boards) (WDBs), American Job Centers (AJCs) and service providers. Finally, it will identify solutions to common OJT challenges and brief profiles of OJT in action, including a presentation of a local board that has simplified their implementation of OJT.
