The webinar will provide a platform for RTW grantees to interact directly with your colleagues and to engage in a dynamic conversation on best practices for developing internships and PWE opportunities with employer partners to assist in placing long term unemployed individuals into rapid re-employment opportunities. Russell Hamm will also facilitate a question and answer segment at the end of the webinar. Discussion highlights will focus on the following:
- Describe the purpose of the Internship & PWE Toolkit and its resources;
- Discuss best practices, key components and successful models of various types of PWE;
- Discuss strategies for inclusion of employers in the development of these activities;
- Learn about the action steps required to develop an internship and/or PWE, including how to engage your employer partners to be active participants; and
- 30 minutes of Q&A and facilitated questions.
