Description
Moving from solution finding, to implementation, to outcomes is an investment in time and resources with a significant return on investment. Although returns may not be immediate, recent research shows success of business engagement initiatives and sector strategies over time.
During this Academy we have moved from the local and regional level of industry meetings and business intelligence gathering, to solution finding across partners at various levels, to our final session focusing on connecting regional efforts to state and national policy.
Panelists in this session will discuss the critical role of the State in sectors policy development and support for regional and local sector partnerships, successful initiatives, and the importance of business leading workforce innovation efforts. This can serve as a call to action for the field.
