Are you an institution looking for curriculum to develop a workforce development program? The US Department of Labor’s Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) program has created a free and open online library called SkillsCommons containing learning materials and program support materials for job-driven workforce development.

Description

The Open Educational Resources (OER) are produced by community colleges across the nation and can be found, reused, revised, retained, redistributed and remixed by individuals, institutions, and industry.

This webinar is the first in a two-part webinar series focused on the resources and services available on SkillsCommons.org. Any provider of workforce development training can reuse these Open Educational Resources (OER) to support their training mission more cost-effectively and efficiently. Examples of OER reuse by TAACCCT grantees will also be showcased. Participants will learn how to get connected with people, technologies, and resources they can leverage to help achieve their project goals.
