The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, and the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, Rehabilitation Services Administration collaborated to form a State Cohort on Co-enrollment among Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and partner programs.

Description

During this webinar, panelists from state teams will share their cohort experiences and lessons learned about co-enrollment.

Seven state teams, representing workforce, adult education, vocational rehabilitation, and other partner agencies, formed this cohort to explore operationalizing co-enrollment of program participants under WIOA through discussion and strategy building around areas such as interagency partnerships, state policy, funding, data collection and reporting, and service delivery.

During this discussion, state teams will share (1) how their teams benefitted from the cohort model; (2) recommended steps towards operationalizing co-enrollment; and (3) their state action plans. During their cohort experience, each state team prepared a co-enrollment action plan.  You have access to these plans in the "Related Content" section on left side of this page.

During this event, state teams will respond to select questions about their action plans and/or their cohort experiences.  Webinar attendees may submit questions to ETAPerforms@dol.gov by 5pm ET, Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Please type "Co-enrollment Webinar Question" in the subject line. In your message, remember to designate the state team to whom your question is addressed.  We regret that due to the limited time, state teams may not be able to respond to each question submitted during the live webinar. State and local staff from WIOA titles I & III (Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth and Wagner-Peyser Employment Service), WIOA title II (Adult Education), WIOA title IV (Vocational rehabilitation) and any other partner agencies will benefit from attending this webinar.
