This webinar will introduce America's Promise grantees to the success factors which will be used to help the grantees gauge their progress to a successful program and will help inform future technical assistance products. Grantees will learn about how and why the success factors were developed, how they will be used, and will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Description

These success factors identify key focus areas that America’s Promise grantees should consider in order to be successful. They align with the Federal Opportunity Announcement and Core Monitoring Guide, were developed with input from Division of Strategic Investment and the America's Promise coaches, and were reviewed by the Federal Program Officers. The assumption is that if the grantees move towards and ultimately achieve these factors, it will result in a successful program.

This topic is relevant at this point in the grant lifecycle because in early 2019, the grantees will be invited to participate in a self-assessment exercise for the mid-point of their program.  They will use a new tool which will be presented during the January 2019 webinar.  That self-assessment tool is based on the success factors and the results will be provided to the FPOs to be used in their Mid-Grant Reviews held in March 2019.
