This interactive webinar will address grantee requests for technical assistance regarding connecting TechHire (TH) program participants to employment (placement).  The webinar will be facilitated by contracted TA staff and will present key programmatic and training design considerations and resources to support grantees’ efforts to move TH participants beyond training and into H-1B jobs.

Description

The webinar will also provide key insights and strategies from your fellow TH grantees that have been particularly successful in supporting participant employment.  Key personnel who should attend this webinar include program directors or managers, program coordinators, case managers, outreach and recruitment coordinators, and training partners. 

Peer Learning Webinar Goals:

  • Learn how TechHire grantees can refine program and training approaches and design partnerships to create a launch pad for participants into H1B jobs.
  • Hear your fellow TechHire grantees’ examples of placement success through leveraging program, training and partnership approaches.
  • Attendees will also hear tips and tools to refocus participant placement strategies in the second half of the TechHire period of performance.
