Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI) grantees will learn how performance data can influence program design, as part of a process improvement strategy to assess challenge areas, identify opportunities for improvement, and by making any necessary course-corrections to improve your grants!

Description

This webinar will provide a platform for Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI) grantees to engage in a dynamic conversation that promotes the exchange of best practices on how to use the data that you report to the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) on a quarterly basis, which include information from the Quarterly Narrative Reports (QNR) and Quarterly Performance Report (QPR).  Performance reports contains detailed information about SWFI grant activities, including leverage resources, strategic partnership activities, timelines, grant outcomes, promising approaches and success stories, and technical assistance needs.  Grantees can use this information to track quarterly performance outcomes to help their organization sustain and grow workforce development strategies.

During this webinar, you will have access to specific tools that you can use to analyze your data.

In addition to performance management data tools, this webinar will also include a segment focused on how your performance data, combined with other data, support evaluation.  The evaluation segment will highlight the role of evaluation data in learning and continuous improvement, the relationship and importance of evaluation and performance together, as well as include an update on the evaluation of the impact of SWFI grants on participants.
