Over the last 5 years, the Division of Youth Services (DYS) has provided a myriad of technical assistance.  In this webinar, we will review those essential Technical Assistance (TA) resources to ensure the youth workforce development field knows what resources are available to assist them in delivering comprehensive services to youth.

Description

After the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was passed in 2014, we began the “Enough is Known for Action” series that aimed to educate the workforce system on the new legislation, the major changes from the Workforce Investment Act, and its focus on out-of-school youth and work experiences.  Once the regulations were published, we engaged in the “Our Journey Together” TA series to help practitioners implement the WIOA Youth program requirements.

Now, we want to have a conversation with you.  Let’s discuss what additional technical assistance needs still exist.  Once we hear from you, we’ll spend the year working to bring together youth practitioners from across the country to discuss those challenges, share promising practices, and highlight practical delivery of WIOA Youth program services.
