This webinar re-introduces the Department of Labor's Clearinghouse for Labor Evaluation and Research (CLEAR) and provides an overview of how CLEAR supports Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) programs. The presentation includes a demonstration of the CLEAR website functionalities and explains how CLEAR may be used to find evidence relevant to states’ Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) programs.

Description

The webinar will provide an overview of CLEAR’s purpose and content—highlighting information that is most relevant and beneficial to RESEA programs and evaluations.  Relevant and beneficial information presented will include details about CLEAR’s capabilities and describe how the CLEAR functions help users to identify studies by job search assistance, reemployment, and other systematically reviewed topics.  During this session, the presenters will also describe CLEAR’s evidence rating criteria for causal studies and demonstrate how to search for studies that may provide evidence to support RESEA programs and evaluations.  Attendees will learn to use CLEAR to identify evidence-based resources that support their RESEA program activities and evaluations that demonstrate impacts.
