Participants will discuss strategies for sustaining successful aspects of their America’s Promise Grant Program.

Description

This webinar is the first in a series technical assistance events that will focus on planning for the sustainability of your America’s Promise grant program.  We will help you work through the key steps of planning for sustainability by encouraging you think about which aspects of your program could be sustained with current resources and provide strategies and tips on succession planning.  We will hear examples of what some America’s Promise grantees are planning to sustain and what resources they are using to do so.

We encourage you to review your current sustainability plan before attending. And if you don’t have one yet, we will give you some suggestions on how to get started.

Discussion includes:

  • Sharing strategies to sustain promising practices;
  • Discussing key steps in the process of planning for the sustainability of all or parts of your grant program;
  • Highlighting the importance of succession planning; and
  • Determining who should be involved with creating or updating your sustainability plan.
