This webinar provides an overview of the changes to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regulations governing the Wagner-Peyser Act, and provides additional information regarding state implementation of the Wagner-Peyser Act Staffing Flexibility final rule.

 

Description

The final rule includes several changes to increase state flexibility in the delivery of Wagner-Peyser Act-funded services.  This webinar provides additional details related to implementation of the changes under the final rule including varied staffing arrangements, how to document implementation in State Plan submissions, and information specific to the changes in the Monitor Advocate system.  Assistant Secretary John Pallasch will present remarks during the presentation.
