Learn about two new resources developed to assist grantees in identifying credentials that meet the reporting requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) credential attainment indicator.
Description
This event introduces the Credential Attainment Decision Tree Tool designed to assist grantees with identifying credentials that meet the WIOA reporting requirements for the credential attainment performance indicator.
State teams of the “Credential Attainment Cohort”, a collaboration of the Departments of Labor and Education, will share credential attainment tools they developed over the last few months. These tools serve as companion resources to the Credential Attainment Decision Tree Tool. Each cohort state team developed action plans available for use by the System. These plans will be available on WorkforceGPS prior to this event.
Cohort teams will provide an overview of their work and introduce their final product (capstone) during this event.
In summary, Employment and Training Administration performance staff and Credential Attainment Cohort members will:
- Demonstrate the Credential Attainment Decision Tree Tool;
- Show how and when grantees might use the tool; and
- Share the Credential Attainment Cohort capstone product.
