Sustainability Planning for your Workforce Innovation Fund Project

About

Did you know sustainability is one of the priorities of your WIF grant?  This two-part technical assistance series focuses on tools to assist in planning the sustainability of all or part(s) of your grant.  Hear what previous-round grantees have to say about sustainability and how they went about it.

Learn about the strategies your peers used as they determined what to sustain and the processes used to execute their plan.  Use the tools and resources provided to kick-start your sustainability planning process.

Part-One

This first peer learning session supplies context on what is meant by sustainability as well as strategies for getting started with planning.  Recommended resources and tools are shared, including a tool for identifying successful innovations and aligning them with local/regional priorities.

Part-Two

In this second session of the two-part technical assistance series, Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF) grantees discuss their experiences in identifying what parts of their grant to sustain and how they executed their plan to sustain those parts.  Learn how to determine what of your project is worthy of sustaining and how it might connect with state, regional and local workforce and economic development priorities.  Gain insight from the experience of the Round 1 WIF grantees who have successfully sustained all or parts of their grant.
