About
One highlight of the Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires states to strategically align workforce development programs. WIOA fosters collaboration and promotes strategies that develop and/or enhance partnerships.
As stakeholders of the public workforce system assess current resources, often the need for additional resources are identified or created. Strong partnerships accommodate resource leveraging, providing the “biggest bang for the buck”. Partners working collectively while also achieving their respective goals is a winning strategy.
