A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of sustainability and community partnerships will present strategies and tips to determine future roles and responsibilities for partners that will help sustain your America’s Promise program after grant funding ends.  Grantees will also hear from their peers as they share their process for building and beginning to implement their sustainability plan.

Description

Mr. Tracy Johnson, Founder & Managing Partner of TTJ Group, LLC, has over 29 years of experience working with states, nonprofits, small businesses, universities, communities and coalitions in helping with community organizing, sustainability strategies and strategic planning.  He will lead this interactive discussion on partnerships and their importance in sustaining your America’s Promise program.

Some of the questions we will discuss are:

  • How can you help foster strong relationships to maintain partnerships after the grant?
  • How to determine which partners are responsible for different program elements and what are some challenges that might come up with sustaining those elements?
  • How might program elements be tracked after grant funding ends and how will information be shared?
  • What discussions should you be having with partners right now?
