This webinar will provide an overview of the WorkforceGPS Disability and Employment eLearning modules designed to support front line American Job Center (AJC) staff and managers provide effective services to individuals with disabilities and businesses.

Description

eLearning is one innovative way to stay connected.  Members of the Disability and Employment eLearning Task Force in collaboration with the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) will highlight three eLearning Training Modules developed to help support the professional development needs of the workforce development staff across nearly 2,400 American Job Centers. The eLearning task force was comprised of 27 members from 20 states across WIOA programs that successfully collaborated together since October 2019.

The webinar will highlight the scenario-based approach applied through story telling in the setting of an American Job Center to increase learning in the following three topic areas:

  • Serving Individuals with Disabilities
  • Working Across Partners
  • Providing Inclusive Business Services

We will do a brief walkthrough of each of the three modules by highlighting how resources have been incorporated to address content and share strategies on how you can integrate into your business model to support organizational learning.
